Jim Rohn Is Dead

Give!
It’s best to start the discipline of generosity when the amounts are small. It’s easy to give ten cents out of a dollar; it’s a little harder to give a hundred thousand out of a million.
Giving is better than receiving because giving starts the receiving process.
Nothing teaches character better than generosity.
Here’s what is exciting about sharing ideas with others: If you share a new idea with ten people, they get to hear it once and you get to hear it ten times.
Sharing makes you bigger than you are. The more you pour out, the more life will be able to pour in.
Somebody says, “Well, I can’t be concerned about other people. About the best I can do is to take care of myself.” Well, then you will always be poor.
What you give becomes an investment that will return to you multiplied at some point in the future.
When somebody shares, everybody wins.
The amount you give isn’t important. What matters is what that amount represents in terms of your life.
Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have.
Those were the exact quotes by the America’s foremost Business Philosopher, Jim Rohn, that changed my lifelong views about helping others.
A mentor and a friend passed on to the great beyond on Saturday, Dec 5, 2009.
For those who don’t know who he is, he is a very successful business philosopher.
His books and mentoring have helped many including myself. I have read several of his works and I must say, he is a rare gem.
For those who have heard of him, please keep his memory alive by practicing what he preached.
“We must learn to help those who deserve it, not just those who need it. Life responds to deserve not need.” Jim Rohn
“Something will master and something will serve. Either you run the day or the day runs you; either you run the business or the business runs you.” Jim Rohn
RIP Jim Rohn

Beware of Interswith Fraud
By Bolaji | June 30, 2009
Most of you would probably have received some form of email purpotedly sent by Interswitch claiming to be in respect of system upgrade, server migration and the like…
A friend recently fell a victim to one of the emails.
He went ahead and filled in all his card details on the said website and before you can say Jack, all the money in his account has been wiped away.
Unfortunately for him, he was just paid his final entitlement from his last place of work where he was just laid off due to economic recession.
How to know if the mail is scam?
Don’t bother worrying yourself about this. Just delete any mail purportedly coming from interswitch.
You can always visit their site if in doubt at www.interswitchng.com
Be warned!

By Bolaji | September 13, 2008
Dear friend,
Thanks for visiting my site.
I don’t know how you got here or what you are looking for, but whatever it is, I wish you happy staying.
Please feel free to drop your comment and let me know what you think.
My plan is to post my personal thoughts and views on events and happenings around me.
I will also be giving my opinions and advice on what I think should be useful to others.
In summary, it’s goin to be a general purpose site - just the way I want it and not necessarily to please anyone.
…and another thing is that, I will only write whenever time permits.
Please don’t take offence.
It’s my world and do feel free to create your own too (if you dare). If you want, you can get cheap domain name and web hosting by clicking here.
Thanks
Wale
